Grand Fashion Journal

Editorial policy

Grand Fashion Journal aims to make fashion coverage accurate, clear and independent in its judgment. We distinguish description from interpretation, explain uncertainty where it matters and make relevant relationships visible to readers.

Accuracy and context

We check names, terms, dates and other factual details against suitable sources before publication. Historical and cultural subjects deserve context, not sweeping claims; we aim to describe what is known, identify interpretation as interpretation and avoid presenting one tradition or taste as universal.

Independence

Editorial choices are made for their relevance to readers. A commercial relationship does not entitle a partner to determine our editorial conclusions, and coverage should not imply an endorsement that has not been made.

Corrections

If you spot a factual error or a misleading passage, contact us with the article title and the detail in question. We review correction requests and, when a change is warranted, amend the article and make the correction clear.

Partnerships and paid material

Any paid, sponsored or partner material is labelled plainly so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. Partner links and placements are also identified; their presence does not change the publication's editorial standards.

Our point of view

Clothing is made to be read.

A cuff, a fabric choice or a familiar dress code can tell us how clothes work and what they mean. We look closely without pretending there is only one way to wear them.
